We are looking for funding to help with the hire of a delivery truck. We are asking for $5000 donation as we put up $3900 so we can continue to give relief for this year and next year to families and groups who are at risk in the community. Since the Coronavirus we have seen the need to supply many families and community groups in need of food hampers. Many people in our region have been left jobless without income and without food. We have found that because some people are not Australian Citizens they are not eligible for centre link payments making it extremely hard to find any support at all. Baldivis Rockingham and Kwinana is an area that has one of the highest bankruptcy and we have been able to have a positive impact and give immediate relief for a number of families and community groups in the area. We pick up fruit and vegetables from Coles twice a month Wednesdays at 11am and from Second bite in the city every Friday 2.30pm in the afternoon and deliver to families, schools and community groups in need.
