The project funding facilitates:
• The supply of species-specific feed to meet nutritional needs during rehabilitation.
• The construction of an elevated Koala Critical Care cage to meet arboreal housing needs.
• The acquisition of biosecurity products to prepare for anticipated H5N1 arrival in 2025 via migratory birds
• The vaccination and treatment of macropods and wombats during pre-release, strengthening immunity and protecting wild populations post-release.
• The construction of a pre-release koala pen
